In years past, students from the University of Minnesota teamed up with a local brewery in the Twin Cities called Urban Growler to produce a beer utilizing the ramón seed samples provided by the concession workers in Central America.
Proceeds went back to the concessions while raising awareness on sustainability in Central and South America.
The beer was a huge success selling out its brown ale within days while the stout version sold a few weeks later.
